A group of artists in Michigan got together in the 1980s and decided they wanted to create a magazine. In 1982, Jean Hull Herman became the publisher and EIC of Möbius, The Poetry Magazine (MTPM). In 2006, the publication came under the executive leadership of Juanita Torrence-Thompson, in New York. Möbius, The Poetry Magazine (MTPM) is an annual print magazine that enhances our understanding of the world and builds a collective capacity for empathy. Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Emerita Juanita Torrence-Thompson announces a transition in the publication’s leadership. This March (2015), Gail Taylor, a Southern California-based poet, photographer, and academic researcher, was named the new publisher and EIC of the international magazine.
